During the first half of 2025, Ecosense Foundation added two new tray recyclers to the Retray Escheme. Both companies have integrated their process upstream into their common activities to get the maximum utilisation of their materials with the integration of recycling process of their own scrap to enhance their circular economy of their products.
This achievement, made after passing the respective approval audits of the RETRAY Scheme procedure, is a milestone in the progress of the Foundation’s mission, which is none other than to promote the development of the tray-to-tray recycling infrastructures necessary for all thermoformed PET containers to be recycled and reusable in Europe by 2030.
Among the objectives of this Spanish company is the mission to work under a 100% circular business model, integrating all the activities of the PET value chain.
